St. Luzia liegt zwei km von Tavira entfernt. Tavira die schoenste Stadt in der Ostalgarve, verfuegt ueber eine gut intakte Altstadt mit Burg und 48 historische Kirchen. Auch gibt es eine Camera Obscura im alten Wasserturm.
Zudem unzaehlige Bars und Restaurants die zum Verweilen einladen.
90 Autominuten entfernt ist Sevilla. Lagos und Monchique liegen 60 Autominuten entfernt, oder bis zum Cabo San Vincente faehrt man 1 Stunde und 15 Minuten.
Castro Marim und Villa Real am Grenzfluss Guadajana sollte man auch nicht vergessen zu besuchen.
